Of course in many cases cosplayers are no more than fans enjoying their hobby and expressing their passion and love for film/comic and cartoon heroes.

Cos play we've always seen as a expression of fun. A hark back to the childhood daydreams where a blanket was supermans Cape and a stick was zoros sword, every gun lethal in the hands of a would be Lone Ranger or D Day US Ranger.
